At St Catherine's we’re committed to helping our residents live longer, healthier, happier lives. In doing so we want our residents to have access to the very best care possible.
General Practitioner
Residents are encouraged to retain their current doctor although you will need to confirm whether they will consult at St Catherine’s. If you require a new medical practitioner a list can be provided of those medical practitioners who currently visit St Catherine’s.
Nurse Practitioner
St Catherine's Nurse Practitioner Steve Voogt visits St Catherine's several times per week. He has a passion for aged care and caring for the clinical needs of our residents now and into the future. Most importantly Steve understands the relationships and the provision of continuity of care to our residents’ quality of life.

Our goal is to deliver “Proactive, preventive and present clinical care of the highest quality to our residents”. To do this the Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with our residents, their families and the nominated General Practitioner (Doctor). The Nurse Practitioner facilitates specialist video conferencing with a Geriatrician, when appropriate and works alongside our care staff to contribute to and review your care plan regularly.
St Catherine’s model of care offers more preventative care, reducing the need for hospitalisation, and reassuring you and your loved ones that you are receiving high quality care.
